Coach of the Month Awards program.

Laura Ealing - Gymnastics - Winnipeg

Laura Ealing has dedicated 29 years of nurturing young female athletes through the sport of gymnastics. She has won such awards as Administrator of the Year, and the Jack Mowatt Award, the highest acheivement award for Gymnastics in Manitoba.

In addition to her achievements in the sport of Women's Gymnastics, Laura has also coached Synchronized Swimming at the Elite level for 10 years, been a National Official for 30 years and an International Official for five years.

Laura has coached many different levels and been key to the continuing growth of the Silhouettes Gymnastics Club. She has always focused on teaching her gymnasts the fundamentals of gymnastics, while teaching them respect towards others and themselves. She is all about working hard and having fun, keeping everyone in a positive attitude and frame of mind.

In the Regional Stream Competitive Women's Gymnastics 2007, Laura led her team to two individual all round victories of top scoring gymnasts for the entire season in their level. At the Provincial Competitions, Silhouettes earned two Silvers, one Bronze and two Gold medals in the Individual All-around categories.
