Coach of the Month Awards program.

Pal Temesvari - Swimming - Winnipeg

NCCP Level Three certified, Pal Temesvari has been coaching for more than 20 years. As an Olympic swimmer, moving to Canada in 1986, he began coaching the Manitoba Marlins and since 1992 he has also been coaching the Mid-Can Masters Swim club.

Pal has a very positive attitude and tailors his workouts to suit every level of ability and as a result, a number of his swimmers have attained national and international rankings as well as, represented Canada at Olympic games. His swimmers have set a number of Commonwealth, Pan-Pacific, Canadian, and Manitoba records.

Pal promotes "swimming for life" and he is responsible for helping many Manitoba swimmers, both age group and master swimmers, to reach their potential.
