Coach of the Month Awards program.

Rob Meakin - Curling - Winnipeg

World champion, Brier Champion, Provincial Champion, Olympic Trails contestant, along with playing on the World Curling Tour have been some of Rob Meakin's personal highlights, while participating in the game of curling. Rob also has been inducted into the Manitoba Curling Hall of Fame, Manitoba Sports Hall of Fame and has received the World Curling Tour Ambassador Award.

In addition to his busy lifestyle, Rob finds the time to coach. He spends many hours on and off the ice with his team, preparing drills and activities in order to assist his team in learning to play at an intense level. Rob has run his own High Performance Camp, instructed at both High Performance camps in the USA and on tour, as well as privately for 20 years. He is the United States Curling Association National Coach, was the USA National Coach for the World Championships and the Olympics and as a result, he has brought a great deal of knowledge and personal experience to the team. Consequently, he has guided a group to the Manitoba Junior Women's Provincial Champions title.
