The 'Coach of the Month' is featured the last Monday of every month in 'News Final' at 11:00 on Global Winnipeg.

Coaching Manitoba is pleased to provide you with July's recipient of the

Coach of the Month Awards program.

George has been coaching at the Glendale Tennis Club for the past 25-years and his passion for the game is still as strong as when he first started. He is always willing to assist both the casual player and the up and coming junior player with whatever they need to take their game to the next level.

With being a former Canadian champion and working with equipment maintenance on the professional tours, George has valuable experiences and knowledge to pass on to his athletes. Under his direction, many of his junior players are excelling in both local and international tournaments.

George started organizing events for beginners where everyone is encouraged to play and have fun. He constantly urges respect, discipline and fair play. George measures his success by the continuous improvement of the players he coaches.
