The 'Coach of the Month' is featured the last Monday of every month in 'News Final' at 11:00 on Global Winnipeg.

Jared Boville is the coach of the Junior Varisty Girls Basketball Team at Lynden Christian School.

Since he assumed the coaching responsibilities, he has led the Wings to their zone championship the last two years. An enthusiastic and dedicated coach, Jared takes extra time to work with his athletes one-on-one while encouraging and emphasizing teamwork.

Practicing twice a week, Jared worked with a group of six grade 9 girls who had never played basketball before and helped raise them to a level where they all made valuable contributions to the team and its success in the zone playoffs.

A positive role model for his athletes, Jared emphasizes fair play, total team effort and that the goal is not just to win but to build moral integrity and team spirit.
