Pedro Daza
Soccer
A fully certified level 3 coach, Pedro has been coaching for almost 20 years. The last couple of years he has been focused on preparing a group of U18 soccer boys for the 2009 Canada Summer Games. It is this team that nominated Pedro for the Global Coach of the Month award.

Pedro has put together a unique group of boys that have become part of Canada's list of elite players. In 2007, they took home gold medals from the Western Canada Summer Games. Just recently Pedro returned home from a training trip to Brazil. He took 17 of Manitoba's promising young soccer players for the experience of a life time.
Pedro's' nominators say he has created amazing friendships and chemistry to form a real team. He recognizes the strength of each palyar and ensures that each of his athletes understand and more importantly are proud of the role they play on the team.
Pedro resources biomechanics, sport psychology and nutrional counselling for his athletes. He isn't afraid to seek the support of guest coaches to ensure his athletes reach their maximum potential. His parents are excited about the care and commitment Pedro shows to his athletes. They believe he is creating not only great athletes, but great human beings.
Congratulations Pedro Daza!
