Meet Coaching Manitoba's New Staff!

 

Kylo Harris - Rural Coaching Manager
 
As a certified NCCP Learning Facilitator, a student in the National Coaching Institute, and a Provincial Team Coach for Lacrosse, Kylo brings a rich skill set to Coaching Manitoba. Further to his vast coaching experiences, he was the Chef De Mission for the Interlake 2008 Power Smart MB Games, was involved with Manitoba’s North American Indigenous Games Team, and has most recently worked for the Lakeshore Recreation Commission and Kugluktuk High School Athletics Association. Kylo also holds training and certification in Athletics Canada’s Run Jump Throw, Soccer Community Coach, Hockey Intermediate Development 1, Community Initiation Cycling, as well as referee certification in soccer.

 

 

Sheldon Reynolds - Coach Education Coordinator
 
As a Physical Education Specialist, Sheldon brings 32 years of coaching experience both in the public school system and the community club system. He has been involved with the National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) since 2000, facilitating multi-sport theory courses from Competition A to Competition Development. He has served on the Sport Manitoba Coaching Manitoba Advisory Council, the Mentorship Committee, and both the Coach of the Month and Year Committees. His passion and enthusiasm get noticed and last year he received the Early Years Physical Education Teacher of the Year Award by the Manitoba Physical Education Teachers Association.
