Provincial Coaching Advisory Council Named
Sport Manitoba is pleased to announce the appointment of several prominent Manitoba coaches to the newly created Coaching Manitoba Advisory Council. The Council will provide a vision and guidance towards the future of coach education and development in Manitoba.
The Advisory Council is made up of active members of the coaching community representing a number of disciplines including those who coach at the community level, the education system, learning facilitators and representatives from Provincial Sport Organizations.
“Good coaching is fundamental to sport delivery as the coach has perhaps the greatest influence on the development of athletes at all levels from community sport to the Olympics,” said Sport Manitoba President and CEO, Jeff Hnatiuk. “We are extremely grateful to have excellent coaches in Manitoba willing to share their time and expertise as a member of the Advisory Council and help us guide the future of coaching development in the province.”
